About Us

Philip Stehlik and Lena Bumke are the core team of The Future is Now. We hold a multitude of realities with our varied backgrounds in entrepreneurial, communal, and transformational work.We love dreaming up, designing, and facilitating experiences and multi-day events that foster connection, disassemble old belief patterns, explore alternative pathways toward shared visions, and cross-pollinate between industries and backgrounds. Our primary focus areas are community building in all its forms, alternative money practices, everyday rituals, interpersonal relating, alternative organizational structures, and co-creation.We believe we can only solve large-scale global challenges by collaborating across different backgrounds, industries, and disciplines. We base our “outside work” on a solid ground of the “inner work” to keep us rooted in our individual truth and values while coming into contact with "what is" between us, here, now.
If you want to work with us - reach out via our contact form.
Lena Bumke is a community builder, facilitator, artist and bodyworker. She is dedicated to creating a future worth living for through enabling meaningful collaboration, supporting the shift towards participatory, self-managed work places and fostering embodiment. She holds transformational spaces in a multiplicity of contexts and facilitates community-centred events and experiences. The sacredness of bodies and nature and the unique essence of each human being sit at the core of her work. As a member of Greaterthan she supports communities and companies on their journey of self-management and alternative money practices.Philip Stehlik is an entrepreneur, guide, and continuous explorer of what it means to create positive impact in the world. His personal research revolves around community and communal spaces - by living in and co-creating them. Previously, he founded multiple technology companies, scaling from zero to industry-defining products. Now, he invests in and supports early-stage projects via his fund Crane Earth at the intersection of climate and crypto, and coaches individuals. Combining all these parts, Philip creatively weaves technology, group work, coaching, entrepreneurship, and, most importantly, people to support a thriving ecosystem that works toward a future worth living for.

Money Practices of Tomorrow?

DECEMBER 2023, BERLINJoin us for an afternoon deep dive workshop into our personal and collective relationships with money. This workshop works with real money that participants bring to the event. See details below.Through practice and play, shared sense-making, and inquiry, we take one step closer to a new narrative of money. The experience centers around "The Money Game" – a practice originally developed in Findhorn Community and passed on to us through GreaterThan. The Money Game is a deep yet playful tool to connect us to the dark forests of our unconscious patterns and beliefs related to money. Act them out in a safe space and develop a different money-consciousness to then take individual action. We will zoom in on our personal and family history and zoom out to look at the bigger picture of us as a collective, a society. This workshop does NOT teach how to make a budget, invest, save, earn more, or negotiate. Instead, we dive right into our beliefs and emotional landscape around money, where we have blockages or misalignments between what we think, how we act, and what we experience in reality.Disclaimer: This workshop works with REAL MONEY. Each participant is asked to bring an amount in CASH. Choose a meaningful amount of money (whatever that means to you - it could be 10 EUR or 1000 EUR) - one you feel comfortable letting go of but that is enough to “trigger” your learning. No prior experience is required.
Space is limited to 15 participants.
The event takes place in the second half of December (exact date to be confirmed) in Kreuzberg, Berlin. You will receive the detailed location and timing after registering your interest.
To register, go to this formPricing: We want to make this event as accessible as possible while also sustainable for us as facilitators. We ask you to pay on a sliding scale from 15-70 Euro. If for some reason even 15 Euro is not accessible for you, please reach out to us and we can have a conversation to see how we can enable you to participate.
We value transparency and intend to share with you both our costs, other investments as well as our income ✨
